Werner von Wien is a gorgeous 2.5 year old German Shepherd. This big boy with the gentle brown eyes, pointy ears and perpetual smile has got to be the cutest lovebug in town. Although new to Westside, Werner is already comfortable with his surroundings and walks around with his head up high. A mid-energy dog, gorgeous Werner walks wonderfully on leash, often earning praises from the lucky volunteer who chose to walk him. He can be pushy when meeting other dogs and requires some correction. Our kennel techs refer to Werner as that “sweet cuddlebug,” who enjoys having his face rubbed. Werner practically purrs and then leans against you when you scratch him all over, and he will smother you with the sweetest kisses. Werner is confident in playgroup and can be pushy at times. He seems to do better with an easygoing, tolerant female. After meeting everyone in the group, he comes back to you to get a head scratch. Werner is already housebroken and quite the catch, but we do have to advise you: if you take him home, you will do little else but kiss and hug this sweet boy.
